Treatment of Traumatic Pneumonia

Traumatic pneumonia refers to limited infection of the lungs caused by chest trauma as a direct cause, and the treatment measures include trauma treatment, anti-infection treatment, symptomatic treatment and so on. 1. Trauma treatment: traumatic pneumonia is mostly secondary to violence, including chest wall penetrating injury, rib fracture, lung contusion, etc. Wounds need to be debrided, larger wounds need to be sutured in time, and pneumothorax needs to be restored to the chest cavity in time with closed drainage. 2. Anti-infection treatment: anti-infection medication is similar to that of pneumonia, under the guidance of bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test, sensitive antibiotics should be selected for treatment, commonly used antibiotics include penicillin, cephalosporin, levofloxacin, and so on. 3. Symptomatic treatment: (1) Fever: for severe high fever, physical cooling is feasible, or use of ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other drugs. (2) Oxygen deficiency: oxygen therapy can be given to those with severe inflammatory reaction, hypoxemia or cyanosis. The above drugs need to be used under the guidance of clinicians, and unauthorized use of drugs is prohibited.
