Postoperative precautions for patients with foraminoplasty

Surgical incision: usually about 7 mm long, with 1 stitch of absorbable suture. A dressing change will be given before discharge. The dressing can be changed at the local hospital 2-3 days after discharge. Keep the wound dressing dry. If there is significant wound pain or dressing penetration during this period, you should come to the hospital. If there are no special circumstances, the dressing can be opened 12 days after surgery, dry towel sassafras off the thread, no need to remove the stitches. If there are no special circumstances, you can take a normal bath half a month after surgery. Wear a lumbar girth for 6 weeks. 6 weeks to avoid sitting and standing, avoid bending, can walk normally. 6 weeks posterior approach (intervertebral foramen approach) patients need to get up on their side. 1.Avoid lifting heavy objects for 3 months. 2.Avoid weight gain in the short term. 3.Decide whether to take oral neurotrophic drugs or symptomatic management drugs according to the discharge medical advice. 4.Review at the specialist outpatient clinic on Tuesday morning or Friday afternoon in the postoperative period of 3 months and 6 months.
