Is there a remedy for glioma?

Glioma is fully known as glioblastoma, and the “local prescription” for treating this disease lacks reliable clinical basis. It is recommended that the patients should consult the doctor in time, and under the doctor’s guidance, carry out surgical treatment or radiotherapy or immunotherapy.
1. Surgery: According to the growth characteristics of gliomas, some well-differentiated gliomas with clear boundaries or in non-functional areas can be selected for total resection of the tumor under the naked eye or lobectomy.
2. Radiotherapy: some gliomas with extensive infiltration, unclear boundaries or located in functional areas of the brain can only be mostly or partially resected, and should be supplemented with radiotherapy and other comprehensive treatment measures after surgery.
3. Immunotherapy: including interferon, monoclonal antibody, etc., which can be combined with surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
If the diagnosis of glioma is confirmed, one should consult the doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions, and should not blindly believe in the so-called “local remedies”, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
