If the condition of the pregnant woman and the fetus is good, conservative treatment can be carried out, such as monitoring the vital signs of the pregnant woman at any time and continuous fetal heart rate monitoring in order to extend the gestational weeks.
If the placental abruption is severe or endangers the life of the pregnant woman or fetus, immediate termination of pregnancy is needed to prevent serious complications.
