Indications for the use of human albumin

Human blood albumin is a biological agent, mainly used to supplement protein deficiency in the body, but there are strict indications for the input of albumin, mainly severe hypoproteinemia and low osmolality caused by various reasons, or used for plasma replacement and so on. Specific as follows: 1. after 24 hours of extensive trauma. 2. acute respiratory distress syndrome in adults. 3. Acute traumatic shock. 4. Plasma replacement. 5. Renal dialysis. 6. Severe hypoproteinemia. 7. Acute and chronic hepatic failure with ascites. 8. Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Adverse reactions to the use of albumin include chills, fever, flushing, rash, etc. Pulmonary edema can occur with too rapid infusion. In clinical practice, the use of albumin preparations should only be used if there is an indication for its input as assessed by a clinician. Human albumin is contraindicated in the following patients with hypertension, normovolemic and hyperemic heart failure, patients with severe anemia, and patients with prior allergy to albumin.
