How to do oral pathology

Oral pathology is operated by puncture aspiration, clamping and excision biopsy according to the site and size of the selected pathological tissue. 1. Puncture aspiration: refers to the use of a puncture needle, suction part of the diseased tissue cells sent to the pathology department, clinical cystic lesions of the jawbone, enlarged lymph nodes, etc., more to take this way. 2. Clamping: It is a way to use pliers or forceps to directly clip part of the lesion tissue and send it to the pathology examination, which is clinically used in the biopsy of lesions located on the surface of tissues, such as the pathological examination of tongue mass, cheek mass, gum mass, etc. 3. Cutting biopsy: refers to the surgical way, directly cut part of the lesion tissue or directly excise small lesion tissue, sent to pathological examination. Biopsy is contraindicated for vascular malformations, choroidal tumors, carotid body tumors and so on.
