Menstruation after 2 years of menopause is considered to be abnormal bleeding after menopause, which is related to factors such as inflammation of the reproductive tract, endometrial polyps or hyperplasia, and malignant neoplastic diseases.
1. Inflammation of reproductive tract: some patients’ mucous membrane is too thin and atrophic after menopause, so the elasticity is very poor, which even leads to vulvar ulcers, vaginal mucous membrane breakage, and bleeding from breakthrough blood vessel exposure, which need to ask the doctor to make a professional judgment.
2. Endometrial polyps and abnormal endometrial hyperplasia: If the endometrial polyps are large, bleeding symptoms may occur when they are stimulated, or the abnormal endometrial hyperplasia may peel off and bleed.
3. Malignant neoplastic diseases, after some patients have cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and other malignant neoplastic diseases, the stimulation of normal tissues by cancer cells may lead to bleeding. Some ovarian cancers may secrete estrogen, causing endometrial hyperplasia and exfoliation bleeding.
If the bleeding is heavy, it is recommended to consult a doctor for specific examination and symptomatic treatment.
