Can cranial ultrasound rule out cerebral palsy?

Cranial ultrasound is not generally used as an auxiliary test for diagnosing cerebral palsy, but cranial CT and MRI. CT examination is of high value for diagnosing cerebral palsy, and is of great significance in guiding treatment and determining prognosis. it can objectively reflect the degree of damage to the brain cells, and the more severe the damage is, the higher the likelihood of cerebral palsy, and the worse the prognosis is. Cranial MRI has good soft tissue contrast, high resolution, high detection rate, painless, non-invasive, multi-directional cut layer and multi-directional scanning. It can more accurately show the location of the lesion, the size of the range, and the histological characteristics, and can intuitively show the morphological changes of the cranium and brain, which is important for the analysis of the cause of the brain, auxiliary diagnosis, treatment, and judgment of the prognosis. Magnetic examination is valuable for early diagnosis and prognosis of cerebral palsy.
