Zihuadidin has the effect of clearing away heat, detoxifying and eliminating swelling, and is effective in treating acne caused by lung heat and gastrointestinal dampness-heat, but is ineffective in treating other types of acne.

Note that Zi Hua Di Ding is cold in nature and is contraindicated for patients with weak spleen and stomach. When acne occurs, it is recommended to treat under the guidance of a doctor, do not blindly use medication to avoid aggravation of the condition.
