What’s wrong with children’s ingrown toenails?

Children’s ingrown toenails may be caused by trauma, fungal infection, iron deficiency anemia, psoriasis and other factors.
1. Trauma: after the toenail is hit, smashed and other traumatic injuries, it may lead to nail plate damage, subnail bruising and so on, and form the symptoms of toenail degeneration and depression.

3. Iron deficiency anemia: If the child has picky eating and partiality, it may lead to iron deficiency anemia, which can’t provide enough nutrients for the toenail, and the spatulate nail will appear, and the toenail will be collapsed.
4. Psoriasis: Some psoriasis may involve the toenail, resulting in pits on the surface of the nail plate, a thimble nail, and there may be transverse grooves in the nail plate, longitudinal ridges, and nail peeling.
