What happened to the newborn’s floppy and droopy scrotum

If the scrotum of a newborn is floppy and drooping, it is considered to be caused by two conditions. First, it is caused by a high internal temperature or a high ambient room temperature, because the scrotum of the child changes according to the ambient temperature, and if the ambient temperature is very low and the child feels very cold, the scrotum will automatically contract. If the temperature is very high, especially in hot summer, the child’s scrotum will be relatively soft and saggy. Secondly, due to cryptorchidism, if the child has congenital cryptorchidism or testicular dysplasia, the scrotum is also flaccid. Parents can palpate the child’s scrotum and find that the testicles are significantly smaller or absent.
