A fishy smelling substance coming out of a woman’s pubic area indicates abnormalities in the leukorrhea. Most abnormal leukorrhea in women is caused by vaginitis, most commonly trichomoniasis, and many patients also have symptoms of vulvar itching. The reason for the fishy smell of the leucorrhea may also be endometritis, senile vaginitis, chronic cervicitis, foreign bodies in the vagina, fluid in the uterus, etc., all of which may cause the leucorrhea to appear abnormal in women.
