Should I treat small nodules in my breasts?

If a small hypoechoic or very hypoechoic nodule is found on ultrasound examination and is round or circular with smooth edges, it is considered a benign tumor, such as breast fibroadenoma or breast cyst. These cases do not require treatment, but only if they increase significantly during the follow-up process or if there are other abnormalities that suspect malignant lesions, then surgery is required. In addition, although the breast nodules are small, irregular margins, poor mobility and malignant tendencies are also recommended for surgery, and minimally invasive breast treatment is available. In either case, it is recommended to follow up and observe the nodules or to further treat them and, if necessary, to remove them surgically.
