What are the chances of hip pain and femoral head necrosis?

Many people worry if they have femoral head necrosis when they have pain in the hip joint. Although the cause of femoral head necrosis is not exact, most will have obvious predisposing factors, such as long-term alcohol abuse, hormone use, a history of previous femoral neck fractures, and a rheumatic immune system prodrome.
Even if there is a history of these factors, it is not 100% likely that the patient will develop femoral head necrosis. When a combination of these factors is present along with chronic painful discomfort in the hip joint, a hospital visit is recommended for examination.
