Gestational cell trophoblastic diseases include hyperemesis gravidarum, gestational trophoblastic tumors, and placental site trophoblastic tumors. Gestational cell trophoblastic disease is a dangerous disease that should be taken seriously, and if it is not treated in time and deterioration occurs, it may be life-threatening.
1. Chylothorax: due to the proliferation of placental villous trophoblasts and interstitial edema after pregnancy, blisters of different sizes are formed in the uterus. It will cause abnormal vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, anemia, hyperthyroidism and other symptoms, and may be secondary to trophoblastic tumors, so it is more dangerous.
2. Gestational trophoblastic tumor: it may be secondary to gravid pregnancy, secondary abortion and so on, showing vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. If it is metastatic trophoblastic tumor, it is prone to lung, liver and brain metastasis, which will eventually endanger the life, so it is a dangerous disease.
3. Placental trophoblastic tumors: originated from the placental implantation site, can invade the myometrium or spread outside the uterus. Most of them have no metastasis, but once metastasis occurs, they can involve the lungs, brain and other parts of the body, and the prognosis is poor. So it also belongs to the more dangerous diseases.
When the diagnosis of gestational cell trophoblastic disease is confirmed, it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions for further examination, to clarify the type of disease with the help of the doctor, and to carry out targeted treatment or therapy.
