A milky white leukorrhea is usually seen in the case of mycosis fungoides. It is diagnosed with the help of laboratory tests of vaginal secretions. If the vaginal discharge test confirms mycosis vaginalis, treatment with broad-spectrum antibiotics needs to be discontinued in patients who are on broad-spectrum antibiotics. For patients with diabetes mellitus, the diabetes should be treated aggressively. Also, topical vaginal medications, including miconazole nitrate suppositories, nifurtimox suppositories or clotrimazole suppositories, are used. For recurrent mycosis vaginalis and for patients who cannot tolerate local medication, systemic medication, such as fluconazole oral, can be used. At the same time, pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva, abstain from spicy and stimulating food, change underwear and wash underwear regularly, and scald underwear with boiling water.
