Efficacy and effects of tamsulosin hydrochloride extended-release capsules

Tamsulosin hydrochloride, also known as Haloxy, is used for the treatment of urinary disorders caused by prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an alpha 1 receptor blocker for patients with moderate to severe lower urinary tract obstruction of prostatic hyperplasia. It can improve the urodynamic obstruction and bring down the urethral resistance to improve the symptoms. Common use of these drugs can have certain side effects, including dizziness, headache, fatigue, sleepiness, postural hypotension, and abnormal ejaculation. Oral tamsulosin hydrochloride is chosen to be taken once a day, one tablet at a time, before bedtime. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is relatively safe for humans and can be used for a long time. Patients with prostatic hyperplasia can be treated with tamsulosin hydrochloride. If the oral effect is not good and urinary retention or difficulty in urination still occurs, surgery can be taken to treat the problem.
