Chemotherapy is for malignant tumors, while precancerous lesions are not yet malignant tumors in nature, so they do not need chemotherapy. Pre-cancerous lesions refer to normal tissue cells that have undergone lesions under the action of certain physical or chemical factors, and their morphology and biological behaviors have undergone essential changes, which are very different from those of normal tissue cells, and if the process of lesions cannot be interrupted in time, and if they are allowed to continue to develop, they are likely to be transformed into malignant tissues. It can be seen that although precancerous lesions have not yet become malignant, the probability of malignant transformation in the future is very high, therefore, they need to be treated in time, which can be done by eliminating the causes of the disease, i.e. the physical and chemical factors mentioned above, surgical excision of the lesion, physical cauterization of the lesion and other methods to remove the lesion, and the precancerous lesion will not recur after the above treatment, and further chemotherapy is not necessary either.
