What is sensory integration training?

Sensory integration training is based on the neurodevelopmental needs of children, through professional guidance, with a variety of professional equipment, the implementation of planned, targeted games and exercises, through the input of strong sensory stimuli, to induce adaptive responses, to improve brain processing sensory messages, improve the neurological function of brain tissue, effectively improve the child’s ability to control their behavioral responses, correct a variety of poor performance and disorders, fully develop the potential of the brain, adjust the mood and personality, enhance the child’s self-confidence, and improve the ability of daily life activities. 1.Tactile training Through massage ball, wave pool, balance tactile board and other equipment to strengthen the skin, large and small muscle joint nerve sensation, identify the sensory level, adjust the sensitivity of the brain sensory nerve. Indications: crying, timid, emotional, fear of strangers, clumsy, fear of touch, incorrect pronunciation, paranoia, picky eating, poor attention, autism, weakness and disease. 2.Vestibular balance training Through the cylinder, balance bicycle, massage dragon ball, slide, balance table, shaking canoe bridge, kangaroo bag, round bicycle and other equipment to adjust the information and balance system automatic response function, promote the sound language organization, vestibular balance and audiovisual ability. Indications: poor body flexibility, improper posture, poor bilateral coordination, hyperactivity, love to provoke people, delayed language development, poor visual space, reading difficulties, lack of self-confidence, inattention, easy to fall, lack of direction, learning ability and habits are difficult to develop. 3.Bouncing training Through croquet, jumping bed, etc. to adjust the inherent balance, vestibular balance sensory system, strengthen the tactile nerve, joint information, and promote the sound development of the left and right brain. Indications: standing and sitting without phase, improper posture, moodiness, lack of physical flexibility, hyperactivity, inattention, delayed language development, reading difficulties, timidity, moodiness, clumsiness, poor visual judgment, poor tactile development, insufficient joint information. 4.Intrinsic balance training Through the one-legged chair, large gyroscope, foot walker, vertical holding tube, etc. to adjust the coordination of the central nerve of the spinal cord to the gravitational force, strengthen the middle ear balance system, coordinate the whole body neurological functions, and lay the foundation of brain development. Indications: hyperactivity, easy to fall, impatience, good at provoking people, poor language development, lack of organization and reasoning ability, poor bilateral coordination, inflexible hands and feet, low self-confidence. 5.Intrinsic body sensory training Strengthen intrinsic balance, vestibular balance, tactile sensation, bilateral coordination of large and small muscles, flexible body movement ability, sound left and right brain balanced development through jumping bed, balance table, wobbling monopod, skateboard, S-shaped vertical balance beam, round balance board, etc. Indications: Slow language development, clumsiness, inattention, hyperactivity, moodiness, lack of organization and creativity.
