How many cigarettes a day is not too many?

Smoking is harmful to health, and there is no such thing as saying that a few cigarettes a day is not an overdose; even one cigarette a day is harmful.
There is sufficient evidence that smoking can lead to lung cancer, oral and nasopharyngeal malignant tumors, laryngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and cervical cancer, and that quitting smoking can significantly reduce the risk of these cancers. In addition, there is evidence suggesting that smoking can also lead to colorectal cancer, breast cancer and acute leukemia.
In addition, smoking is associated with the development of many diseases such as respiratory diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, reproductive and developmental abnormalities, diabetes mellitus, and dementia.
Prompt cessation of smoking is recommended.
