The hazards of thalidomide are serious teratogenicity to the fetus, cause polyneuritis, etc. The drug should be used in accordance with medical advice.
Common adverse reactions to thalidomide include lethargy, drowsiness, dryness of the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose, vertigo, constipation, nausea, abdominal pain, rash, facial puffiness, allergic reactions, and polyneuritis. It also has serious teratogenicity to the fetus.
This product is contraindicated in pregnant women, lactating women, children, people with allergic reactions to the product, people engaged in hazardous work (such as machine manipulation, drivers).
Thalidomide has immunosuppressive and immunomodulatory effects, as well as anti-inflammatory, anti-prostaglandin and histamine effects, and can be used to control neoplastic leprosy reactivity. It should be used rationally under medical supervision to avoid adverse consequences.
