The difference between damp-heat and phlegm-damp body types

Damp-heat and phlegm-damp constitutions have different symptomatic manifestations, and the difference between the two can be distinguished by the color of the tongue moss. People with damp-heat constitution often feel heavy and weak, and their tongues show yellow and greasy moss. Patients are prone to facial acne, etc. They can also see facial oil, hair oil and dandruff. People with phlegm-damp constitution are usually more obese, have phlegm sound in their throat when they speak, can show chest tightness, epigastric distention and fullness, decreased food intake, and the tongue can show white thick and greasy moss. People with damp-heat constitution have oily face, oily hair, dandruff and are prone to acne, while people with phlegm-damp constitution do not have these symptoms.
