Novel coronavirus infections were identified in 2019 and named by the World Health Organization on January 12, 2020. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses. Novel coronaviruses are new strains of coronaviruses that have never been found in humans before, and limited information is available. The main routes of transmission of novel coronaviruses are still respiratory droplet transmission and contact transmission, and epidemiological investigations have shown that most infected persons have had close contact with the infected person in close proximity. After human infection with coronavirus, common signs include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and difficulty in breathing. In more severe cases, it can lead to pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. No more effective treatment has been found, and treatment is carried out through isolation as well as the use of antiviral drugs.
