How is minimally invasive osteotomy done to correct an O-shaped leg? Is the surgery major? Are the risks high?

The minimally invasive osteotomy is performed through a small incision on the medial side of the knee, opening a gap on the medial tibia, preserving the integrity of the lateral bone, bracing the medial side to straighten the leg and finally fixing a plate on the medial side for support. This procedure does not damage the muscle tissue and does not amputate the fibula, resulting in less injury, less risk and faster recovery.
