Zeloda is the dried tuber of the plant Zeloda of the family Zeliaceae, which is sweet, light and cold in nature, and has the effects of inducing water seepage and dampness, and draining heat. It can be used for the treatment of edema and distension, dysuria (unsmooth urination), diarrhea and urination, phlegm (pathological products formed by the impaired metabolism of water and liquid) dizziness and other conditions.
This product is often used clinically with other drugs, such as with Atractylodes macrocephala, can be used for spleen deficiency and dampness caused by urinary incontinence, edema and diarrhea, gonorrhea and leucorrhea (urine and leucorrhea turbid) and other conditions; with Mutong, can be used for heat gonorrhea, hemorrhagic gonorrhea (blood in the urine and accompanied by pain), urinary short and red (urination, the color of the urine is dark yellow) astringency, edema, jaundice and other conditions.
The adverse effects of Zedoary are not known at present. Note that this product is prohibited for those who are allergic to this product, allergic persons should be cautious, kidney deficiency and slippery essence, no dampness and heat is prohibited.
