Can pediatric cerebral palsy be cured?

Most people tend to associate cerebral palsy with mental retardation and think that children with cerebral palsy must be mentally retarded, which is actually a wrong perception. Although cerebral palsy accounts for a large proportion of newborns in China every year and the incidence rate is on the rise, clinical studies have found that about 70% of children with cerebral palsy have no intellectual problems, and some are even smarter than normal children. Cerebral palsy is a pediatric central nervous system disorder syndrome that has its onset in the brain and its symptoms involve the extremities. Some of them have symptoms such as drooling, strabismus, and unfavorable speech. Parents of newborns need to be vigilant and pay close attention to their child’s every move to see if there are symptoms related to cerebral palsy and actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment. Although there are many types of cerebral palsy and diverse clinical manifestations, as long as the child goes to a regular professional cerebral palsy hospital for scientific treatment, many of the symptoms of the child’s body can be improved to a large extent and the quality of life can be improved, which is a great relief for the child and the family. With the rapid development of medical career and the growth of medical personnel, China has made unprecedented breakthroughs in the treatment of cerebral palsy. Medical experts believe that the treatment of cerebral palsy is a systematic process, and after years of clinical practice and research, the system of “preoperative rehabilitation training-surgery-postoperative rehabilitation training” can achieve scientific treatment for cerebral palsy. The results of the system have been proven to be effective.
