Duloxetine Hydrochloride is commonly used in the form of enteric-coated tablets and enteric-coated capsules, and is a psychiatric drug. It is mainly used for the treatment of antidepressant, anxiolytic, anti-obsessive-compulsive and pain relief.
Duloxetine hydrochloride belongs to the selective dual-channel reuptake inhibitors of selective 5-hydroxytryptamine and norepinephrine. Its mechanism is to antagonize the norepinephrine and 5-hydroxytryptamine receptors in the brain, preventing their reuptake, thus increasing the concentration of the two neurotransmitters in the synaptic space, and acting as an antidepressant, anxiolytic, anti-obsessive-compulsive and pain reliever.
Duloxetine hydrochloride is commonly used in patients with depression and anxiety disorders accompanied by significant physical pain, as well as in patients with chronic pain, with adverse effects such as gastrointestinal distress and neurologic symptoms such as dizziness and headache, drowsiness, insomnia, and sedation.
Duloxetine hydrochloride is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to duloxetine hydrochloride or the inactive ingredients in the product.
Duloxetine Hydrochloride should be used under the guidance of a professional physician, do not self-medicate to avoid delays and serious adverse effects.
