Guanchong point is on the finger, on the ulnar side of the terminal joint of the 4th finger, 0.1 inch above the side of the root angle of the nail.
Guanchong point is in the Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian of the hand, near the corner of the root of the nail on the ring finger near the side of the little thumb. It is a well point of the Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian of the hand, which clears heat, awakens the mind, and also treats acute illnesses. The main diseases treated by Guanchong point include fever, heat stroke and other heat diseases; headache, eye redness, deafness, sore throat and other diseases of the head and face; fainting and other psychosomatic diseases.
The operation of this point can be shallow stabbing, or three-pronged needle puncture bloodletting; can do moxibustion. It is an important point for first aid.
