Is immunotherapy + radiotherapy good for esophageal cancer

Through these non-surgical treatments, tumor proliferation can be limited, and the tumor may even be shrunken to buy time for surgery; for advanced esophageal cancer, survival time may also be increased, which is beneficial. However, not all esophageal cancers need immunotherapy combined with radiotherapy. Whether it is needed or not needs to be carried out needs to be analyzed by clinicians according to the stage of the disease, pathological examination, physical tolerance and so on.
