Bumps under the eyelids are commonly associated with mydriasis and chalazion. Chalazia usually grows on the outside of the eyelid and can be seen as a distinct redness, and acute symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, and pain can also occur. In some patients, they grow inside the eyelids, and only when you lift your eyes upward or look downward, you can see small bumps bulging out of the eyelids. For the treatment of chalazion, early treatment is done by using antibiotic drops and eye ointment followed by local hot compresses. If the effect is not obvious in 1-2 weeks, a small surgery is needed to scratch the inside to drain the pus, lipids, and non-specific inflammation. If the patient develops such a condition, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and early treatment as needed.
