Cervical biopsy is a cervical biopsy. For patients with abnormal TCT liquid-based thin layer cytology results and positive for HPV virus, it is recommended to carefully observe the surface of the cervix using white light magnification under the direction of colposcopy, then apply 5% glacial acetic acid to the cervix and observe the changes in the squamocolumnar junction area after one minute, then apply iodine solution fully to the entire surface of the cervix, observe it with the naked eye for one minute and record the results . Biopsies were taken in the iodine uncolored area and then sent to pathology for diagnosis. The results of cervical biopsy include chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, cervical carcinoma in situ, and the more serious ones are cervical squamous cell carcinoma as well as cervical adenocarcinoma.
