Dual-targeted treatment options for advanced breast cancer

Dual-targeted regimen for advanced breast cancer, a novel treatment option, refers to the combination of trastuzumab and patuximab.
Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor lesion with more treatment options. Current treatment options, mainly focus on surgical treatment, try to completely remove the cancerous lesions through radical surgery, and at the same time clear the surrounding lymph nodes. After surgery, the disease will be clarified through pathology, immunohistochemistry, genetic testing and other examinations, and then followed by radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and targeted drug therapy.
Targeted therapy is to block the continued growth of cancer cells through specific interference. Compared with conventional treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, it has less damage to normal cells, better therapeutic effect and relatively lower side effects.
Generally speaking, targeted therapy is mostly carried out sequentially or combined with other therapeutic measures. Dual-targeted therapy is a new type of therapeutic measure to improve the therapeutic effect through the combination of trastuzumab and patulizumab.
So it is said that patients with advanced breast cancer, should actively cooperate with the doctor, listen to the doctor’s advice, complete the appropriate treatment, the drug should be applied under the guidance of the doctor.
