Yuanzhi Side Effects and Contraindications

Side effects of Yuan Zhi include nausea and vomiting, and its contraindications are currently unclear.
Far Zhi is used for insomnia, excessive dreaming, palpitation, palpitation, dizziness (violent heartbeat, panic disorder), forgetfulness, epilepsy, cough with profuse phlegm, carbuncle (a kind of poisonous sores, which occurs on the body surface, limbs, and internal organs of the acute suppurative disease), breast swelling and pain and laryngeal paralysis (pharyngeal swelling, pain, or dryness, with a feeling of foreign body, or pharyngeal itching and discomfort, and difficulty in swallowing), etc. It is not recommended for people who have solid heat or phlegmatic fire, or those who have gastric ulcers or stomach inflammation.
Note that Yuan Zhi should be used with caution in those with solid heat or phlegm fire, or those with gastric ulcers or gastritis. Excessive clinical dosage of Yuan Zhi may lead to poisoning, causing adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting.
