The antigen test kit usage includes pre-sampling preparation, sampling, sample testing, and reading the results.
Preparation for sampling includes washing hands with running water or hand sanitizer, opening the antigen test kit, taking out the instruction manual and reading it, opening the reagent bottle with buffer for spare use, and taking out the swab sampler.
1. Carefully unpack the swab, avoiding hand contact with the swab head. Then tilt your head slightly and hold the end of the sampler deep into the mouth to the posterior pharyngeal wall, and wipe up and down, left and right three times.
2. Immediately put the sampler into the sampling tube, the swab head should be rotated and mixed in the preservation solution for at least 30 seconds, and at the same time, the swab head should be squeezed at least 5 times with the hand through the outer wall of the sampling tube, to ensure that the sample is fully eluted in the sampling tube.
3. Squeeze the liquid from the swab head through the outer wall of the sampling tube by hand, then discard the swab, cap the sampling tube, and drop the liquid vertically into the sample hole of the test card.
4. Wait for a certain period of time, read the results of the test card, C and T show red or purple bands are positive, a single band (C shows red or purple bands, T does not show bands) is negative, no band is invalid.
