Where does the sperm go if you don’t get rid of it for a long time?

If the sperm is not discharged for a long time, the sperm will be discharged by means of seminal emission or reabsorbed after the death of the sperm.
Sperm is produced by testes and stored in seminal vesicles, if sperm is not discharged in time it may be discharged by way of seminal emission; prolonged non-discharge of sperm will make sperm inactive and eventually sperm cells will gradually wither and be absorbed by the body.
Long-term non-discharge of sperm will also be harmful to the body, because sperm, prostate fluid and seminal vesicle fluid will be retained, which may lead to seminal vesiculitis, prostatitis, etc.; non-discharge of sperm will also deteriorate the quality of sperm, and even impotence and so on.
There is no scientific justification for abstinence. If other discomforts occur after the patient does not discharge sperm for a long time, it is recommended to go to the hospital to find out the cause and then treat it.
