How to treat a broken arm

Arm fracture, if it is a minor fracture without obvious displacement, can be treated conservatively with immobilization and braking, if the fracture is serious, surgery is needed. 1. Conservative treatment: If the patient has a slight fracture with good stability and no obvious displacement, conservative treatment can be carried out. Conservative treatment is to use splint or plaster for external immobilization after manipulation and repositioning. 2. Surgical treatment: If the patient has a serious fracture, obvious displacement, or accompanied by nerve or blood vessel injury, surgical treatment should be chosen in time. Surgical treatment is to reset the fracture end through surgery, and then use steel pins and plates for internal fixation, which can be utilized to promote the recovery of the fracture as soon as possible. No matter which kind of treatment, it needs to be combined with rehabilitation exercises. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early and regular treatment.
