It can reduce swelling and detoxify toxins, relieve pain and fever, and calm the mind (using drugs of heavy sedative nature to stabilize the mind). It can treat furuncle (a skin disease referring to severe furuncle), carbuncle, laryngeal wind and paralysis (redness, swelling and pain in the pharynx, or dryness, foreign body sensation, or itchy pharynx, difficulty in swallowing), laryngeal pain, double-single mastoid moth (related to tonsillitis in western medicine) and other throat disorders caused by dampness-heat-heat poison, as well as general redness, swelling and heat pain, etc. Adverse effects are not known. The adverse effects of the drug are not clear.
Jinhuang San is composed of rhubarb, cypress, atractylodes, atractylodes macrocephala, turmeric, chenpi, raw tiannanxing, dahuric dahurica, smallpox pollen, licorice, with the efficacy of subduing swellings and relieving pain (eliminating swelling and pain), it can be used to treat carbuncle boils and swelling and pain, summer dampness and fluid flow (in the deep muscle of the multiple abscesses), bruises and sprains and so on, external compresses, a few times a day.
