Acupuncture Points for Spleen and Stomach Discord

Spleen-stomach disharmony should strengthen the spleen and harmonize the stomach (restoring the functions of the spleen and stomach) by massaging acupoints such as Spleen Yu, Sanyinjiao, and the middle epigastric region.
Spleen Yu is located on the back, under the spinous process of the 11th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline. It can benefit qi and strengthen the spleen (regulate the qi of the spleen and stomach), harmonize the stomach and lower the rebelliousness (regulate the qi of the stomach and make the upward rebellious qi go down), and treat abdominal distension, dullness (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms of spleen and stomach disharmony.
Sanyinjiao is located in the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the posterior margin of the medial edge of the tibia, which can benefit qi and strengthen the spleen, nourish the liver and kidney, treating abdominal distension, diarrhea, and other signs of weakness of the spleen and stomach.
The mid-epigastric region is located in the upper abdomen, 4 inches above the umbilicus, on the anterior midline, which can strengthen the spleen and stomach, eliminate food stagnation (promote food digestion), treating abdominal distension, stomach pain, vomiting, acidity, and eructation (hiccups).
Note that acupuncture points must be operated by a professional practitioner, not by yourself.
