What’s with the brown discharge every day?

The daily brown discharge should be an abnormal uterine bleeding and the diagnostic and treatment procedures for abnormal uterine bleeding should be followed. The first step is to check for pregnancy-related disorders, perform HCG and ultrasound, and then perform a follow-up hysteroscopy after ruling out the possibility of pregnancy-related disorders. Under the conditions of hysteroscopy, the presence of abnormal growths in the uterine cavity, such as polyps, submucosal fibroids, atypical hyperplasia, or even malignant hyperplasia, is detected. At the same time, endometrial scraping is performed, with corresponding excision of the growths, and appropriate management is given according to the postoperative pathologic results. If the pathology suggests benign lesions, in most cases progesterone should be used to adjust the menstrual cycle. In the case of atypical hyperplasia, or even malignant hyperplasia, surgical intervention is required. If the brown discharge occurs in a post-menopausal woman, a hysteroscopy should be performed accordingly.
