What are the symptoms of uterine stasis?

A stagnant uterus may present with abdominal pain, bloating, drenching bleeding, or systemic infection. The normal uterine cavity should be free of any abnormal fluids and solids except for the placement of an IUD. If the uterus appears to accumulate blood in the uterine cavity, it will lead to an increase in the size of the uterus, abdominal distension, pain in the lower abdomen, and if too much blood accumulates and overflows the cervix, it will lead to a small amount of persistent vaginal bloody discharge, which is mostly stale blackish-brown in color and accompanied by a foul odor. Bruising for too long may be combined with infection, endometrial inflammation, uterine myositis, and systemic infection, which can lead to high fever, chills, thickening of blood, and toxemia. Uterine bruising is caused by the difficulty in draining blood from the uterine cavity or cervical adhesion, which can increase the contraction force of the uterus and dilate the cervix to promote the drainage of the blood from the uterine cavity, and antibiotics can be used to prevent the infection.
