3. Antiandrogenic drugs: suitable for female patients with hyperandrogenic manifestations. Commonly used drugs include ethinyl estradiol cyproterone and spironolactone.
4. Glucocorticosteroids: Prednisone can be used in moderation for aggregated acne and fulminant acne, and intradermal steroid injections can be used as an adjunct for severe nodular or cystic acne.
