In general, leg-breaking exercises can be performed gradually about 3 weeks after tibial plateau fracture surgery. After the tibial plateau fracture is fixed and stabilized, it is recommended to carry out functional exercise as early as possible. Starting from 3 days after surgery and continuing for 1~2 weeks, quadriceps relaxation training can be carried out, with the patient lying flat, straightening the knee joint and dorsal extension of the ankle joint. Patients can perform knee flexion and extension training on their own initiative from 3 to 8 weeks after surgery, and it is suitable for the knee joint to feel soreness and swelling. Overflexion, leg press, squatting and other training were carried out 3 to 6 months after the operation. For patients using the lower limb joint function rehabilitation device, it is recommended that the range of motion of the knee joint be 20-30º starting from 3 days after surgery, 40-60° from 4 to 6 days, 60-90° from 7 to 10 days, and generally the knee flexion should reach 90° in 4 weeks after surgery. In addition, leg-breaking training must be gradual, massage and relaxation before doing, master the rhythm of leg-breaking, to avoid secondary damage to the tibial plateau. If there is any discomfort, review in time.
