Fever usually starts within 1 to 2 days after the 13-valent pneumonia shot, but most vaccinated people do not show signs of fever.
After receiving the 13-valent pneumonia vaccine, usually if an adverse reaction occurs, symptoms will appear within 1 to 2 days after vaccination. Similar adverse reactions can occur due to allergy to some of the components of the vaccine.
