Drugs used to treat conjunctivitis can be divided into many different types depending on the cause: i. Bacterial conjunctivitis requires the selection of antibiotic drugs, such as the commonly used levofloxacin hydrochloride eye drops, tobramycin eye drops, and gatifloxacin eye drops. For viral conjunctivitis, antiviral medications such as ribavirin eye drops and ganciclovir eye gel are needed. For fungal conjunctivitis, antifungal drugs such as fluconazole eye drops or natamycin eye drops are available. For conjunctivitis caused by immune factors, topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or glucocorticoid drugs such as pralofen eye drops or sodium cromoglycate eye drops are needed. V. Allergic conjunctivitis, usually with antihistamines, such as azelastine hydrochloride eye drops and olopatadine eye drops. Different types of conjunctivitis require different medication choices.
