Hepatic coma refers to a disease in which hepatic failure due to various reasons causes different degrees of consciousness disorder, behavioral abnormalities, disorientation and other symptoms. 1. Impaired consciousness: hepatic coma can be divided into prodromal stage, pre-comatose stage, lethargic stage and comatose stage. As the degree of coma rapidly progresses, the faster the central nervous function of liver and brain is damaged, thus the degree of cognitive impairment becomes higher and higher. 2. Behavioral abnormalities: due to the damage of the central nervous system, the behavior will be different from the usual, the mood fluctuates a lot, especially happy or sad, talking a lot at one time, and then talking very little at another time. 3. Decrease in orientation: With liver failure and damage to the central nervous system, orientation and comprehension will decrease. The above are the symptoms of hepatic coma.
