Ibuprofen suspension is generally available in 2g/100ml and can be used for analgesia and antipyretic in children, with different dosages depending on the child’s age and weight. The dosage is 4mL for children aged 1-3 years and weighing 10-15kg; 5mL for children aged 4-6 years and weighing 16-21kg; 8mL for children aged 7-9 years and weighing 22-27kg; and 10mL for children aged 10-12 years and weighing 28-32kg.In case of persistent pain or fever, the dose can be repeated at intervals of 4-6 hours, but the dosage can be repeated at intervals of 4-6 hours. The medication may be repeated at 4-6 hour intervals, but not more than four times in 24 hours.
