(1) Prodromal period: Infants and young children mainly show asymptomatic or mild symptoms, may appear low fever, irritability, refusal of breastfeeding, rash and other phenomena, while older children and adults, may appear chills, low-grade fever, headache, malaise, loss of appetite, etc., and last for 1-2 days can be out of the rash. (2) Rash period: the rash is common in the trunk, with the spread of the disease to the face and limbs, some patients’ oral cavity, conjunctiva and vulvar conjunctiva can also appear rash; the initial rash is a red patchy rash, and then develops into herpes, surrounded by a red halo, herpes is thin walled and easy to break. 2. Atypical chickenpox: (1) Herpetic chickenpox: common in children under 2 years old, relatively rare, can appear in the diameter of 2-7cm size blisters, blister membrane rupture can form vesicles. (2) Hemorrhagic chickenpox: it is common in patients with malnutrition, leukemia, etc. It can be manifested as generalized hemorrhagic blisters, and is usually accompanied by high fever and other phenomena. (3) Congenital varicella syndrome: generally caused by intrauterine infection, which can lead to newborns showing low birth weight, eye defects, underdevelopment of limbs and other phenomena. When the symptoms and manifestations of chickenpox appear, it is necessary to go to the hospital in time, and once diagnosed as chickenpox, it needs to be treated in time.
