Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is more aggressive.
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, also known as lymphosarcoma and malignant lymphoma, is a malignant tumor originating in lymphoid tissue and lymph nodes. It is most common in the elderly. The cause of the disease is unknown and may be related to infections, environmental and genetic factors.
Aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas include diffuse B-cell lymphoma, condyloma, follicular lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphoma, and mesenchymal large-cell lymphoma. Because lymphomas develop more rapidly, they quickly spread through the lymph and blood vessels and are highly aggressive. At this point, if left untreated, life-threatening death will occur within 1 to 2 years.
It is recommended that when there is any discomfort in the body, the patient should be examined promptly. Patients should be detected and treated as early as possible, so as not to delay the condition and cause it to worsen and become irreversible.
