Can you drink yogurt with focal enterocolitis?

Patients with focal enterocolitis, also called focal intestinal chemosis, can drink yogurt in moderation, but drinking yogurt has no specific therapeutic effect on focal enterocolitis.
Focal enterocolitis usually refers to the presence of focal mucosal epithelial cells of the small or large intestine in the normal gastric mucosal tissue, resulting in partial replacement of the normal gastric mucosal epithelium by intestinal mucosal epithelium.
Focal intestinal metaplasia is common in chronic atrophic gastritis, especially in people older than 50 years of age. It is a precancerous state of gastric cancer, but the chance of developing to gastric cancer is relatively low, and there is no drug that can reverse it. Gastroscopy can be repeated at intervals of 2~3 years.
Patients should pay attention to dietary rules, yogurt helps digestion, but be careful not to drink it on an empty stomach. Diet should be light, eat less and more frequent meals, and eat more high protein and nutrient-rich food.
