Metal stents and included tubes differ in secondary lesions, mobility and cost, there is no absolute which one is better, need to choose to use according to individual circumstances. Metal stents and included tubes are bile duct retention supports used for percutaneous hepatic puncture and drainage, and the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice is characterized by certain efficacy, simple operation, and fewer complications, which can significantly improve the quality of survival of patients. The clinical efficacy of metal stents for malignant obstructive jaundice is significantly better than that of included tubes, and the time to develop secondary obstructive jaundice is longer than that of included tubes. The included tube has advantages over the metal stent in terms of mobility, can be pushed into the duodenum after re-infarction, and is less expensive than the metal stent. Metal stents and included tubes have their own advantages, and it is recommended to choose according to the individual situation.
